Advanced Skills Teacher - Mathematics

(AST 2-6 £38,400 to £42,379)

We require an outstanding subject specialist to join the maths team and to make a major contribution to improving student achievement by raising the quality of teaching in Maths and across the school.

You will have a proven record of excellence within the classroom; a belief in the ability of all within the school community to achieve; excellent ICT skills; energy, drive, enthusiasm and a sense of humour; good leadership skills and you will be uncompromising in your pursuit of high standards of student achievement and behaviour.

Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers, GTC and CRB.

Applications should arrive in school on or before 12 noon on Tuesday 9th March 2010.

Interviews will be held from the 16th March 2010. If you have not been invited to attend by 19th March 2010 you should assume that your application has not been successful. We will not be able to provide feedback on your application at this stage.
